Are you registered to vote?As election day approaches, people are beginning to fear going to the polls because of the current pandemic. Election Day is November 3 this year and we have to make sure we are prepared. One of my favorite resources to access voting information is HeadCount, an organization that promotes the importance of voting in a democracy through partnerships with musicians and venues. Their website is filled with useful information including how to register to vote and where you can find your polling place. During this pandemic, the most important part of their website is the vote from home section under voting info. This is important because people who are rightfully afraid of going to the polls can still vote. If you do not want to go to the polls this upcoming election day, make sure to check your state's laws and request your ballot. This year's election is critical when addressing issues such as climate change, racial inequality, gun reform, immigration, and more. What are the most important things to do? Educate yourself, then vote for the person that represents your views the most.
